DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION
- W2411 is our “general purpose” build-up and hard surfacing wire.
- The weld deposit of W2411 is a low alloy deposit with a martensitic structure.
- It is machinable and forgeable.
- A good balance of impact resistance and abrasion resistance as well as hardness make W2411 an excellent choice where only one wire is desired for build-up and hard surfacing. (Not to be used as an under layment prior to subsequent hardfacing).
- Excellent for overlaying carbon steel shafts, gear teeth and sprockets,Sprockets, Steel Shovel Pads.
