ALL TYPES OF STEELS WITH VERY HIGH STRENGTH
DESCRIPTION
A low-Hydrogen electrode especially designed for general maintenance; welding cast steel and low-alloy steel. The welding material has medium to high tensile strength as well as very high impact strength at -46°C.
Easy ignition and smooth quiet arc with good penetration.
APPLICATION
- Unidentified steels.
- Joining dissimilar steels.
- Tool steels.
- Heat treatable or quenched and tempered steels.
- High carbon steels.
- Spring steels.
- Manganese steels.
- Stainless steels etc.
- Wear resisting build-ups on clutches , gear wheels, shafts etc.

Extracting broken bolts:
The Z-2911 electrode creates an especially strong welding material resistant to twisting stress. A quiet arc-ensures a spatter less weld. The electrode should have smaller diameter then that of the hole. Point welding should be constructed one on top of the other to the height at which a nut can be welded on top. Slag should be cleaned, and it is advisable to wait until cooling; then the bolt should be turned and released by using the appropriate wrench.
